The Northeastern Oklahoma Black Lawyers Association is comprised of Black attorneys in the public and private sectors, as well as judges and other public officials.

N.O.B.L.A. provides a unique platform for professional development and legal education, networking, and strategy for law. It promotes the exchange of information between lawyers and legal associations, covering all areas of law and public and professional interests.

The purpose of the Northeastern Oklahoma Black Lawyers Association, a unified association of African-American and other minority lawyers, is to advance equality and excellence in the pursuit of justice, aid the progress of Blacks and other minorities in the profession, address legal issues affecting the community, and foster the study of law by encouraging the personal and professional development of young lawyers and law students.

Today, N.O.B.L.A is comprised of mostly minority attorneys in large and small law firms, solo practitioners, and all levels of government, academia, corporations, not-for-profit organizations and the judiciary.

N.O.B.L.A.'s Focus

N.O.B.L.A. is and will remain focused on the special needs and issues that concern the African-American legal community and the African-American community at large.
